Below are some frequently asked questions that arise during the initiation of treatment. If there are any additional questions that you would like for us to address, please feel free to submit that information on the "Contact Us" page.
We look forward to hearing from you.
If you or someone in your family participates in alcohol or drug usage that prevents that person from working, going to school, or maintaining family life at home, use Alcohol or Drugs in dangerous situations (for example: driving while impaired), has legal problems because of alcohol or drugs (i.e. to satisfy a legal requirement such as probation, pre-trial assessment, etc.), has
problems/ issues with other people or family members because of usage, or has tried
unsuccessfully to stop usage then there may be a need for services.
Depending on the severity of the need for services, the individual is scheduled for at least 1 individual session a week. Most sessions are 1 hour in duration, however depending on the significance of some life altering situations it could last longer. Depending on the Treatment Plan that is created with the individual, the frequency and duration of the visits are determined.
True Outreach currently accepts cash, debit cards, credit cards, and various Private Insurance Companies. Not all of the services provided by True Outreach are covered by insurance companies. Please speak with your insurance provider or a True Outreach Representative to find out what is covered by your insurance benefits.
The individual is schedule for an appointment in which an intake packet is completed by the individual. The client is then given an assessment to identify the underlying need for services, in which the results of the assessment assist the individual and the therapist/counselor in developing goals for the individual. The Substance Abuse Therapist/Counselor utilizes motivational interviewing, motivational enhancement therapy, client-centered approach, and the principles of 12 Step to engage the individual during treatment.
True Outreach encourages all individuals to include their family members during the treatment
process, if it will be conducive and beneficial for the individual to do so. Family sessions can be
incorporated into the weekly individual sessions that are provided for the individual. We earnestly believe that the individual's support system must be healthy and emotionally stable, to ensure that the individual can return to a sense of normalcy in regards to their daily living as well as abstaining from substances.
